You've heard it before: "If you continue to think like
you've always thought, you'll continue to get what you've always
got."
Most people are handicapped by 'conventional' thinking. Our taskmasters
have us well conditioned to keep our eyes on the bricks we are making
in front of us, and the porridge they provide for us at the end
of the day.
We have been conditioned by government run public schools and we
do not to question or think for ourselves. We work for
government controlled companies, to pay a myriad of government mandated,
automatic deductions from our paychecks, so we can take home our
meager earnings to deposit into a government guaranteed bank which
doesn't pay us enough interest to keep up with inflation and where
they can take it back later if they decide they don't like us.
We go home to read the paper to see that our investments in the
government regulated markets are shrinking. When we get sick
of that we turn on the government regulated television and are told
how terrible, dangerous and illegal it is to think about doing any
business outside of our taskmasters' brickyard and how socially
irresponsible and unpatriotic we would be for considering such nonsense.
So at the end of our career we settle for our government sponsored
retirement which provides us with our choice of porridge or medications,
but not both. And we consider ourselves; lucky, free and 'informed'.
The old saying is; "A slave works much harder if he feels like
he is free !" Of course, everyone looks at 'the
other guy' who has that problem, as many of us cling desperately
to our own closely held illusions and fantasies about how we 'think'
things are. Or more appropriately, how we 'want' to think
things are. Then, for those who have the nerve and the
guts to read, study and find alternative sources of information,
they find a whole new world, never previously imagined, which begins
to unfold before them.
Ignorance is being foisted upon the masses in such a way as to remove
any possibility for critical thinking or informed decision making.
The daily struggle for financial survival has made it impossible
for the average person to learn and understand: history (the way
it truly was), law (the way it truly is), economics (how it works),
current events (as they are, not as they are reported), philosophy
and even deep spiritual matters. We are becoming a world of
poorly educated 'serfs' all serving the mammon master and the result
is our families and our futures suffer.
There is only one solution for the above mentioned crisis:
Seek the truth with an open mind.
With truth, comes knowledge. With knowledge comes power.
With power come possibilities. With possibilities come true
options and opportunities for change.
