The Morality of Taxation

While a majority of the public moans and groans about the high rates of taxation and the fact that soon, it seems, we will be taxed for the air that we breathe, others claim ‘fraud’ and that we should all just ‘opt out’ and pay no taxes of any kind at all. The proponents of the later philosophy invoke comments from the former group such as, ‘we all have to do our fair share’, and ‘how else would government operate with no taxes’?

Unfortunately, neither group would be correct in its position. Both positions are fraught with a lack of understanding. On the one hand, we have extreme naievete, and on the other hand, extreme rebellion. Neither one position is absolutely correct, although those that cry foul are closer to the truth than those who live in ignorant bliss. Do we have an obligation to pay taxes? Should we be willing to pay whatever the government asks of us? Do we have a choice as to what taxes we pay and how much? Which taxes are lawful (as opposed to ‘legal’)? Are there any? How can we tell?

These are all questions that need to be asked. More importantly, we need to understand the answers. This article is the first of a series of articles which will try to help us all understand the nuances of what would be a moral and just system of taxation. With this basis of understanding, you will better be able to detect fraud and abuse when it raises its ugly head. Recognition is the first step to understanding which, in turn, is the foundation to reform.

The history of taxation goes back to ancient times. In Egypt and Greece, taxes played a relatively small role and were often paid by way of goods and the produce (increase) from the land. The Roman Empire decreed ‘imposts’ on land along with some direct taxes. In the Middle Ages there was less of a need for many of the taxes we now pay, especially in direct taxes on the people. All income of medieval rulers came primarily from the produce of their royal estates. Naturally they took great care in tending to their many plantations and farms.

The fuedal system was one in which the King was master (owner) over the lands of his kingdom. He would grant a ‘Feifdom’ (grant of land-gift) to one of his subjects. This subject now had legal title (‘use of’ not allodial/absolute) to the land which he could sell or bequeath. The ‘use of’ the land was conditional upon two things: 1) that the subject pledge his allegiance to his King (and thus his military service, when needed), and 2) pay the King a fealty, or tithe, (tax) from the produce of the land, i.e. extracted minerals, crops, livestock, etc.). The King’s Barons (County Commissioners) were his delegates to manage these affairs and were the ‘Lords of the Land’ (Landlords).

In the Feifdom, the King, who was ‘Defender of the Faith’, was the ultimate owner of the property and if his subject violated one of the conditions of his ‘legal title’ ownership, the subject was ‘divested’ of that ‘conditional use’ and evicted. The king took back his land. Sound familiar? More to the point, this system of taxation was correct. It was a tax on the ‘increase’ and not on the ‘ownership’ or ‘use’. Under this system, when old man Farmer Jones up and dies, and his wife Mrs. Jones is unable to work the land and it sits idle, if there is no increase, there is no tax. She would have no liability unless she also had the ‘produce’ or the ability to pay. They went hand in hand.

In today’s system, it doesn’t matter if she works the land or not, or whether she has the ability to pay or not, the ‘use’ tax liability remains, regardless. This makes it easy for the ‘Lords of the Land’ to force her to be evicted, as she couldn’t stay on the King’s land due to the obligation of ‘ownership’ taxes instead of taxes on the ‘increase’.

This example serves us well in illustrating two very critical points in a lawful and moral system of taxation. Point #1... Who imposes the tax? The King who is the true owner (allodial title)of the property being taxed.

#2...What is the Basis of the Tax? The increase, or gain derived from the property’s use.

If you derive a benefit from the use of someone else’s property, they have a right to tax you (charge a fee) and share in the gain. By now you ought to be thinking to yourself, "well let’s see, I pay a tax every year on ‘my’ car, ‘my’ home, ‘my’ income, ‘my’ business, etc, etc. What gives?" You’re on the right track. You’ don’t own any of those things like you ‘think’ you do. You’ve been defrauded out of your common law, ‘allodial title’ property rights. That’s a subject for another discussion. You pay a tax on this property because it is not yours and you derive the benefit of its use. We were told many years ago that "...your children will grow up homeless in the land that your fathers conquered!"

Let’s examine, for a minute, the roots of our legal system. It is very difficult to understand anything that is going on today, in our modern, complex world, without understanding history and the evolution of true law. To understand why the Tower is leaning in Pisa, Italy requires a study of its foundation!

Regardless of your own personal spiritual inclinations, our legal system (and most others around the world) is rooted in Biblical ‘maxims’ of law otherwise known as the Mosaic code. Libraries are full of historical documents and treatises that leave no question about this. With that in mind, let’s go back to the beginning of the ‘written’ law (Biblical scripture) as it relates to taxation:

"Ask of Me and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance, and the parts of the earth for thy posessions.

Psalms 2:8

Numerous other passages tell us to ‘occupy’ the land until He comes and that we shall have ‘dominion’ over all the things of the earth. The principle here is that our land and other property are gifts of God, as he created them, for us to own and possess. Property cannot be taken from the owner without the owner’s consent. If this were not the case God would not have given us the Commandment: ‘Thou shalt not steal’.

Such blessings as life, liberty, property and others have thus become our ‘inalienable’ rights. They are given to us by God and cannot be authoritatively taken away or infringed upon by man. The true owner (God) is the only one who has that authority. God clearly intended that these rights and laws form the foundation for civil government thus making God the source of human government, not man. Reference the Abrahamic Covenant promising the blessings or the curses. Lawful government then, is instituted by man under these precepts, or maxims, solely for the protection and preservation of our ‘inalienable’ rights under the authority of the legal precepts given to us by God.

The natural order of authority is : God, who created Man, who created State Government , which created Federal Government, which in turn created administrative ‘bureaus’ to implement lawful authority which emanates from the top. Each entity in the former is served by the later and is bound by its predecessor. All lawful authority starts at the top of this pecking order and trickles down respectively.

The founding fathers of America took great pains to structure a government that was a servant to the people and not a master. They recognized the proper natural order of authority and they abhorred the Feudal, kingdom/feifdom system. They fought to win and protect a man’s right to be ‘King’ of his own castle, to have allodial title to his property, to be master of his own destiny with the liberty of the sovereign and to answer to nobody.

If you study American history, the phrase you’ve heard quoted so often from the Declaration of Independence: "...the right to persue life, liberty and happiness" was originally coined by Thomas Jefferson’s words; "...life, liberty and property." The word ‘happiness’ was substituted for ‘property’ after much debate. It was decided that ‘happiness’ included property, of course, but it portrayed a concept that was more inclusive and expansive with a man’s property rights held as a foundational precept to that idea.. True property rights held under ‘allodial’ (beholden to no one) title was a key issue in the formation of our country and our governmental principals.

What do we see today? Are you ‘King of your castle’ ?The modern day order of authority is as follows: The U.N. (a foreign Godless power - 85% of the countries that make up the U.N. follow Marxist/atheist philosophies) dictates to the U.S. Federal government via treaties, (the WHO, WTO, NAFTA, GATT, Council on Bio-Diversity,etc.) which, by virtue of the international bankers and related puppeteers, has effected a bloodless ‘coup d’etat’ and is now supreme over the states and the people. It then directs the Federal unelected bureau-rats, who issue ‘mandates’ to the states, who in turn compel and direct the people (man) using ‘compelled performance’ statutes in equity law (which swallows up your common law birthright). Most importantly, God is no longer a part of the equation in government or ‘public’ life and has been shoved aside (presumably man has better solutions now that we are enlightened!). Everything is completely inverse, adverse and upside down to what it should be, just like the Bible said the end times would exemplify!

Under any structure, there are only two ways for us to be ‘alienated’ from our God given, ‘inalienable’ rights (property): either by voluntary waiver, or by theft (by force or fraud).

What is happening today in America is nothing new. Where did you hear, ‘there is nothing new under the sun’? We can see a striking similarity in the annals of history. Let’s look;

When the Judah kingdom existed around 610 B.C., their king was Josiah; "And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord." (2 Kings 2:22). In an attempt to ward off a threatening Egyptian Empire from his land, Josiah engaged in battle and was killed by Pharaoh Necho and his army. The Pharaoh, in his greed and desire for wealth, wanted to impose a tribute upon the land of Judah to get the peoples’ gold and silver. This is what happened according to 2 Kings 23:

34 Then Pharaoh Necho made Eliakim, the son of Josiah, king in place of his father Josiah, and changed his name to Jehoiakim.

35 So Jehoiakim gave the silver and gold to Pharaoh; but he taxed the land to give money according to the commandment of Pharaoh; he extracted silver and gold from the people of the land, from everyone according to his taxation (assessment), to give it to Pharaoh Necho.

What we see here is a takeover of a kingdom (government) by an external and hostile force. In America, people are beginning to understand the nature of a similar consipracy against our people and organic form of government which has been taken over and controlled by the monied elite such as David Rockefeller’s Council on Foreign Relations, its sub-group the Trilateral Commission, the players behind the Federal Reserve and the IMF (International Monetary Fund).

In the November, 1977 issue of American Opinion magazine, Gary Allen stated: "The Rockefellers have manipulated the...policies of every American President since Franklin Roosevelt; but Mr. Carter has been so obviously a creature of David Rockefeller that many are no longer willing to deny that there is a conspiracy involved."

We are being allowed to believe through the controlled media (which is highly infiltrated with CFR members) that the people have complete power in choosing our president. But when we start examining the CFR, the electoral college system, the two party system which is entirely based on the centralization of power (through money and media influence), the nationwide incidences of vote fraud and tampering, a biased media, and the financing of campaigns (from Communist China, etc.), we start realizing that we do not have all that much choice in who our president, or who our elected officials will be. Now, what happened to the Judah kingdom?

They had attempted to choose their own king after Josiah died, but the Pharaoh dethroned that man and put the man he wanted as head of the kingdom. Why? Because then that man, Jehoiakim, would be indebted to Pharaoh and would follow the dictates and wishes of the Pharaoh fulfilling an obligation to him or out of fear of him. Jehoiakim would thus be easily persuaded by the wants of Pharaoh for placing him in a position of power. It may be hard to realize or understand, mostly because of the way this is kept from public view by a C.F.R. controlled media, but this is exactly what is happening in America today.

Now, what did Jehoiakim do when Pharaoh Necho put him in power? He taxed all the people just as Pharaoh wanted. What has our government been doing with such perseverence and diligence since the CFR made connection with Franklin Roosevelt in the thirties? They have converted all of your common law rights, which you enjoyed as a matter of tax free and regulation free inheritance, and converted them all into ‘commercial priveleges’ and the accompanying regulations which demand ‘permits’, ‘fees’, ‘taxes’ and the like. Your birthright, which was your property to enjoy, has been ‘stolen’ from you by the conquering ‘king’ and ‘granted’ back to you as a ‘conditional privelege’ with ‘fees’ (taxes)and conditional use restrictions attached.

Let’s look at some examples; Your right to get married is only regulated by your vows to your spouse and the gift and sanction of God. These are the only parties to the marriage contract (witnesses included). Now, most people are brainwashed and feel a need to go the the ‘king’ to get ‘permission’ only after paying a ‘tax’ (license fee). Based on what we’ve learned so far about the legitimate right to tax, this would imply that your king now owns your right to get married. Does this ‘king’ own your inalienable right to get married? Why do you pay him a tax on this and ask for his permission?

Example #2. You own your home and property (farm), after all these years, you’ve paid off the bank mortgage and now it’s finally yours. So why do you still pay the annual ‘rent’ (property taxes) to the king? What happens if you fail to pay this rent? He evicts you? So let me ask you again, who really owns (has authority over) this land? Why have you paid three times the original loan amount on your 30 year mortgage (participating in ‘usury’ is against Biblical law)? You obviously don’t ‘own’ this property (even though you’ve labored for thirty years for it) but merely have ‘conditional use’ or ‘legal title’. Your ‘allodial’ and ‘unalienable’ rights to your property have been stolen from you because you clearly don’t have any.

Either we have an unlawful tax here, or someone stole your property. Either way, you lose. It’s really pretty simple isn’t it? Fraud is easy to detect once you understand the Biblical foundation of the true law.
